Any film by Ang Lee but a lot more besides... I'm quite good at avoiding films I won't like, which explains the high average ratings of my reviews!
As for music, I love Martha Wainwright and have recently discovered Raghu Dixit. If I have a favourite genre, it's world music, and I'm far from being a purist (a bit of trashy pop in the mix can sometimes work wonders. But I draw the line at rap/hip-hop, which I can't stand).
