Are all the rave reviews I have read about the wonderful service in Bath Strada written by the staff themselves??

I used to recommend them to friends regularly but no more. After being there at least an hour they took our orders the starters were fine but the mains came out a dish at a time by the time the last order came out most people had finished.

Three steaks were ordered they were all cold and tasted of charcoal despite one ordered as medium and one medium rare.

Side orders were not brought and it wasn't until we asked of their whereabouts that we were told they were unavailable. No apologies given for any of this.

We had negotiated the use of 2 for 1 vouchers with the manager and this was disputed by the staff even though we had a chain of emails from the manager.

All in all not a pleasant evening but bad food and service I can live with. It happens. My main bug bear is that my friend left a book in the restaurant by mistake which had been a gift.

When we went to pick it up the next day the staff had thought it hilarious to write comments in the book. Not very impressive.
