The Little Theatre is a real gem. Tucked away in the centre of Bath, and only two screens, it manages to retain all the charm of an old-fashioned picture house while presenting a programme of mainstream, art and alternative films, together with special events. I recently attended an evening that included a performance by a live quartet followed by a film about Beethoven, and last year a performance called "a Night at the Bijou" in which the classic B horror movie "The Bride of the Monster" was enlivened by a live cast from the Natural Theatre Company.
