Honestly terrible! The food was bad but the service was even worse. We have a new born baby so the main focus was don't ring on the doorbell! But did they?. Yes! Had the food been up to scratch this would have been forgotten but it wasn't. For £47 pound we received a nice chicken tikka, a questionable chicken balti, some heated up greek yoghurt, more pubes than prawn for £10 in the Garlic Prawn, a couple of average naan and a regret that we didn't just cook.!

Curry mahal is one of the few restaurants i have been to where there actually is a rustic Indian Bengal feel rather than it being tacky and distasteful like most Indian restaurants. It has very good aesthetics with very nice scenery and good dim lighting which always sets a good mood. Its very homey yet romantic so its a good setting for any occasional or celebratory meal. The menu is very extensive with lots of traditional and new dishes that the owner has invented herself. The food is very good, putting a new twist on old classics yet keeping that great taste and aroma. The portions are very generous! well worth the money i paid, they don't cheap out on anything even they're side dishes were amazing! they really do go the extra mile, the staff and the owner herself were so sweet! I really like the orange mint chocolates they give with the bill, so i asked for a couple more, they came back with handfuls! it really shows they take care of every customer, they gave excellent quality food and service. It was worth every penny and i will go back there next time I'm in bath! i really recommend the Curry Mahal.

My Wife and I have been using the curry mahal for a couple of months and we eat there every sunday evening.

The food is of a very high standard and the service is excellent.

Ive head the best Indian food in bath at the curry mahal.
Last week ,The food was outstanding,and service I got was very friendly.
There is So much choice's on the menu and a lots new dishes that I have never tried before. one of the dish that I tried that was Chicken Hara Massalla,cooked with hint of mint,apple,chillies, yogurt and spices.
It was fantastic. I recommend every one should try this curry mahal.
