We visited the cafe du globe on 3rd dec 2008 for my fiances bithday,this is a very nice little place with comfortable seating,candles on the table and lovely decor,a small enclosed bar at the back of the room with only just enough room for the waitress,the food was lovely,my fiance had a full rack of pork ribs which were delicious(as i ate half of them) and i ordered Brochettes,this was skewers of chicken ,lamb and pork,served with a lovely salad and not the usual mountain of iceburg!!!! accompanied by a very nice jacket potato,went down a treat with a couple of bottles of budweiser beers,not my choice of beer but we had to send back our two pints of stella which was the only beer on draught which tasted a bit off?. All in all one of the best places i have been for food quality and service,not very expensive either! i will definetely go again!!!!!!10 out of ten !!!!!!!John and Jude.

Cafe du Globe is a preseantable little gem that serves beautifully prepared food. I always take my friends here as the dining experience is unforgetable.
