The ViewBath Review
The Trinity brings together different languages and cultures. They do not do it loudly though - their mission is rather quiet and relaxed.
The Venue
The international flags stuck all over the ceiling define the spirit of Trinity - it's welcoming to foreigners. There's nothing too remarkable about the rest of the pub. There's a pool table, some game machines and the regular pub furniture. However, some of the windows have stained-glass portions and the seats outside are very popular in the summer.
The People
Groups of foreign language students meet up here and they meet to catch up over a pint or before hitting a club. Even a few young tourists can be heard speaking their native language. So, if you're born and bred British you can come here to brush up on your language skills.
The Food
There is even an international spin on the food and there are many countries represented. You can order four types of Italian pizza (£6), Indian chicken rogan josh with rice (£6), Chinese style vegetable soup with roll and the British Cumberland sausage with potato and vegetables served in a Yorkshire pudding. At least some of the homesick foreigners can have a taste of home.
The Drink
Their beer selection is good and you have plenty of choice. You can order draughts of Cotswold Finest, Bob, Doombar, Blackthorn Cider or opt for a bottle of Estrella Dam, Corona, Grolsh, Becks, Baltika, Budweiser and Sol. The bottled Estrella is only £2.20 and Trinity must be one of the cheapest central pubs of Bath. The usual spirits, liquers and wines complete the list.
The Last Word
Trinity is central and the beer is cheap. If you are not from Bath, you may enjoy it better but at prices this cheap it's attractive to everyone.
