Stephen Frears is one of Britain’s most distinctive and provocative directors. He has worked with some of the world’s most established talent, from Martin Scorese on THE GRIFTERS, to Helen Mirren in THE QUEEN – both of which gained him an Oscar nomination. Other critically acclaimed films include DANGEROUS LIAISONS, MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS with Judi Dench, and HIGH FIDELITY.

Moira Buffini is an acclaimed writer for stage and screen. Her most recent writing includes HANDBAGGED, about Margaret Thatcher and the Queen, for the Tricycle Theatre’s WOMEN, POWER AND POLITICS season (2010) and WELCOME TO THEBES for the National Theatre Olivier stage (2010). Her previous work includes LOVEPLAY (2001) for the RSC which was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best New Comedy.
