The Grey is filmed in Smithers, B.C. Canada on the alpine of the local ski hill. it really was cold when they were filming. I'd say minus 20c with a wind chill making it about minus 30 c. It's usually only that old about two weeks a year. From the trailer it looks like the cold made the scenery really pop. Looking forward to seeing it at the Roi this weekend.
