This was excellent!!! 4 people joined to watch it and everyone thought it was really good.
I thought this installment in the Rambo series was fantastic, it had the story and the action, and didnt fail to deliver a fantastic display of Rambo's famous fighting style, and blood thirst. The only thing i found wrong with it was i felt it was a little short, even though the run time was average i felt it could have run for longer. This film goes back to basics, learning from the sucess and failures of previous Rambo movies. It shys away from the effects films that today are full of, and relies soley on acting skill, fight sequences and a story line that grips the hearts of even the most hard hearted people of the world, opening our eyes to the ongoing war in Burma and the humanitarian debate of whether our help is enough. I found this film making me think, about the suffering of the Burmease people, personal battles of our logic and emotions, and at what cost should we intervene. And at the end of it i found myself saying that even the smallest good deed comes at a price, helping a small village of people and trying to stop the war came at a bigger price shown by most of the group and mercinaries loosing their lives, to save the people who were there to help save the villagers.
Basically it has the blood and gore that fans love and it allows time for a story line to develop, great for all tastbuds.
A gripping and exciting film, which tied up the rambo story beautifully.
Stallone hit the note on this one.
Very, very, VERY bloody! You have been warned!
